At High-Performance Alloys, Inc., we operate a machining and grinding department staffed by a team of dedicated machinists with the specialized skills for processing heat-resistant, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant alloys. The same elements that give these materials their strength and corrosion-resistance make them challenging to machine, but by leveraging the right cutting tools in combination with the correct machining technique, we attain very good accuracy and production rates. We have the capacity to rough machine to near net shape, and with our grinding capabilities, we are prepared to manage close tolerance, small run production jobs.

Our equipment resources include heavy-duty engine lathes as well as several milling centers, a drill press, and cylindrical and surface grinders. We perform generalized machining processes as well as internal and external thread cutting, tapping, thread milling, thread rolling, and more. CNC operation gives us good control over dimensional accuracy, and we achieve a high rate of repeatable consistency. Along with Hastelloy®, Inconel®, and Monel®, materials we typically work with include cobalt-based alloys, pure nickel and high nickel alloys, and stainless steel - including Nitronic®. We handle workpieces measuring from 0.5" to 6" in diameter, and when we combine machining with grinding, we uphold manufacturing tolerances as close as ± 0.005".

We specialize in prototype and small lot production volumes. If you are faced with tight deadlines, our production flexibility allows us to turn your order around very swiftly. We have staff available to assist with design aspects, and we are capable of conforming to Mil-spec, SAE, and other industry standards. As an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, we are committed to sustaining the highest level of quality. We provide machining services for an extensive range of industries with critical performance requirements. To learn more about our machining and grinding capabilities, contact us directly.
